Background
We are supporting a major automotive manufacturer in the execution of vehicle driveability and performance evaluation activities. As part of a dedicated engineering service setup, we are building a specialised team to support daily vehicle testing, evaluation and validation activities within a long-term engineering framework.
Activities
- Execute vehicle driveability and acceleration performance evaluations according to defined test procedures.
- Perform subjective assessments of vehicle behaviour across different powertrain technologies.
- Support vehicle preparation, test execution and data collection during validation activities.
- Participate in driving activities under a wide range of operating conditions, including dedicated test campaigns.
- Report test results and observations following established customer standards.
- Support the coordination of daily testing activities in collaboration with on-site engineering teams.
- Ensure correct handling and use of test vehicles, instrumentation, and related equipment.
Experience
- Experience in vehicle testing, evaluation or validation activities within the automotive field.
- Hands-on experience with subjective vehicle assessment and test driving.
- Familiarity with structured OEM test processes and on-site working environments.
- Ability to follow defined procedures and provide clear technical feedback.
- Willingness to participate in driving activities across different locations and test tracks.
Academic Background
- Technical education in automotive, mechanical, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
